Reed Kelly: Born in the USA and has been dancing since beginning competition at the age of 10. He has trained at some of the top schools and companies in the world: The Juilliard School, American Ballet Theater, Larkin Dance Studio; and has won hundreds of titles, medals, and accolades nationally in the United States.
Reed has worked on 12 Broadway shows in NYC; as a Performer, Associate Choreographer, and Dance Captain -- including years 1 through 4 of "Wicked"; "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark" (as Spider-Man); "The Addams Family", "Kinky Boots", "Gigi", "On The Town", "An American In Paris"; and with Cirque du Soleil in "Paramour: The Musical" ... to name a few.
He has also worked in many other facets of the entertainment industry. Some favorites include: Film / TV, "I Am Legend'' with Will Smith and NBC's television show "SMASH" (Cast and Associate Choreographer).
Other credits include: numerous commercials (TV and Print), Music Videos (Cher, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Jessica Simpson, Vanessa Williams, Michelle Branch); and world tours (Mylene Farmer). He is also a fan-favorite contestant on the American TV show, CBS's “Survivor”.
Reed began his circus training upon graduating high school under Chelsea Bacon and MyoCo in NYC and Los Angeles, respectively. He then furthered his training with an intense focus on Aerial Straps with a roster of beloved coaches, including: Victor Fomine, Yuri Bozyan, Sarah Poole, Dominique Loignon, Jaqueline Lemieux, and Sergey Volodin (contortion / hand-balancing).
He continued with Cirque du Soleil as Associate Director / Associate Choreographer under multiple Tony and Emmy Award winning Director / Choreographer, Sergio Trujillo, for the Hamburg remounting of Cirque du Soleil's "Paramour: The Musical".
Reed originated Strut and Fret's "Blanc de Blanc: Encore" in Melbourne and at the Sydney Opera House (2018 / 2019 season) as an aerial straps soloist, dancer, and singer.
In 2018, Cirque du Soleil Casting also paired him with Jack Dawson and their duo, Two Fathoms, was formed.
Since their fortuitous inception, Two Fathoms have performed for Isuzu (Bangkok, 2019) at their International Grand Gala in collaboration with Anystage Productions. During the 2020 pandemic they participated in the Online Festivals: "Little Big Top" and "Circus International Film Festival" with their short film, "Kismet".
Two Fathoms was also the focus of a 2020 international in-depth feature (TV and online) by CNN and CNN International; sharing their story as a circus duo -- persevering through the challenges of the "new normal" Covid19 has brought upon the world.
Two Fathoms originated the role of "Gemini" (aerial straps) on the first Australian tour of "Oracle: The Myth" by Bass Fam Creative, in addition to dancing and other featured roles throughout. Having performed at the Arts Center Melbourne; The Princess Theatre, (Brisbane); and The Octagon in Adelaide Fringe Festival 2022; all these performances were met with much critical and audience acclaim for Two Fathoms as a "stand-out, one-of-a-kind international act". Two Fathoms recently completed their second Australian tour of "Oracle: The Myth” with its four-week season at The Athenaeum (Melbourne), then culminating at the Sydney Opera House for the first two weeks of August 2022.
Immediately following "Oracle: The Myth", Two Fathoms joined chanteuse Bernie Dieter in opening "Club Kabarett". Performing aerial straps, contortion, dance, and lyra in the Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent at The Rocks in Sydney, Australia for a six-week season (Aug 15 - Sept 25); then continued forward with the company for another four-week season in Melbourne in October 2022.
Two Fathoms originated the roles of The Sailors in Spiegelworld’s new resident show, “The Hook” currently running at Caesars Palace in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In addition to being the aerial duo feature in ”Broadway Bares: Hit The Strip” for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS 2024 at Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC.
Reed Kelly also has the special distinctions of:

— featured on the cover of TIME Magazine.
— is a model included in a collection of 10 works by the renowned, late Rodney Smith, now in permanent residence at The Getty Museum in Los Angeles; and is also on the cover of the book “Leap of Faith”, subsequently released by The Getty Museum.
