I am a Cyr Wheel performer and coach. My obsession with the Cyr Wheel began the moment I first saw a video of it online. After many months of fruitless searching for instruction or information in New York City, I ordered a wheel from Montreal and began the long arduous journey of teaching myself. I have performed for The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, The Chicago Contemporary Circus Festival, NBC News, the CBS Morning Show, and more at venues including The Queens Theatre, the NYC World Financial Center Winter Garden, The Irondale Center and the historic Bardavon Opera House. I am a Wheel Gymnastics World Championship competitor for Team USA, and I have taught at Circus Warehouse, Streb, Rebel Circus Arts, Brooklyn AirSpace, Friends Academy, and Kazuko Hirabayashi Dance Theater. I am also co-founder and principal with Svindelic Cyr Wheel Troupe, and I hope to continue spreading my love of this unique art form through performance and instruction.
