Grandchild of circus performers.  Child of parents who ran away to join the circus once the kids were adults.  Although my grandparents had retired by the time I came around, I grew up listening to the stories and visiting circuses to see their friends.  I enjoyed taking my children to visit their grandparents who were on the road.  

I am now using social media to share recently discovered letters that family wrote to each other while on the road and at home.  

Enjoy discovering more about my family's circus life and friends with museum visits and convention attendances.  

Grandparents were Carl (China) and Dorothy Durbin.
