I am a first generation graduate, 1957, of the Hungarian State Circus Academy, with Diplomas in Performing and Teaching the Performing Arts of the Circus. Graduated as Duo Veranny, Rollerskating Act, and Acro/Contortion/Music Act. We performed in numerous countries, for several years, before deciding to start our own families. I spent some years in the U.K., transferring my circus knowledge, to fitness, before moving to the US, where I continued doing the same for several years.
I have a few claims to fame from this period of my life:
1. 1981, At age 42, after 17 years, I gave birth to my second child, having taught exercise classes the day before and after his 10 minutes delivery
2. 1989, Guinness Book of Records for non-stop exercising. 38 hours and 40 minutes
3. At the age of 50 + I decided to further my formal education and earned a
degree in Kinesiology, A.S.
Teaching the Performing Arts B.S. and
Recreation and Leisure Studies with focus on Recreation Therapy M.S.
I also became a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist (750-1000 hours)
And spent 8 years at Eastman Community Music School, earning numerous diplomas related to the Study of Jazz
Some years ago, I also returned to circus arts, with focus on teaching Contortion, by traveling to various studios with my Master Classes, and/or teaching online (Skype), mostly my private students
I am also a Motivational Speaker on the subjects of:
1. Growing up in Communist Hungary with focus on my years at the Hungarian State Circus Academy (graduated with the first group of students in 1957)
Latest Guest Speaking engagement at the 2017 (9/9 & 9/10) World Acrobatics Society's Congress in Las Vegas.
2. It's Never Too Late To Go Back To School, to Further Your Education. (I was in my 50's, when I enrolled to earn my A.S. and B.S. degrees, in my 70's receiving my M.S. and in my 70's by the time I completed 8 years of Jazz Studies at the Eastman Community Music Schoo (details above)
