Pablo Behm is an Argentinean composer, instrumentalist and teacher. He was graduated
in composition from the School of Arts, in Córdoba University, and as a guitar player from
the Felix T. Garzón Conservatory, in the same city.
Aswell, he performs as a composer and instrumentalist in the groups
“proyecto[red]ensamble” (experimental music) and “Eso Que Cae” (experimental songs),
and collaborates in both roles with diverse dance groups as “Tribu Chapanay”, “Mudanzas
Escénicas Clap!”, “Altibajos Constantes Movimientos”, and some others experimental
dance groups.
Since 2013 he has been teaching in guitar courses, intrumental groups and technology at
the School of Arts “Luz Vieira Mendez”, Laboulaye city.
Since the year 2016 he is part of an interdisciplinary team, as a part of the grade mobility
program “MAGA” (Córdoba University). With this team he teached the seminar "The
Fragility of the Camp”, for grade students of Cordoba University, and he is preaparing an
exchange with Santiago University (Chile), in the month of december.
In his composer career he has composed instrumental and vocal-instrumental works,
as well as electronic and mixed works. Among his instrumental production stand out
“Bloom”, for Symphonic Orchestra, “This City” and “Ritual”, for great ensemble and mezzo
soprano performer and “Hú!”, for an instrumental sextet, among other achievements.
In the field of the song, his production is linked to “a lo Bonzo” and “Eso Que Cae”, both of
them experimental rock groups. As an electronic musician he has worked in "Hembra del
Desierto, Caudilla Chapanay", dance documentary, and in “Los chicos de Abril”, an opera
by Luis Pérez with the reggie work by Cheté Cavagliatto. In this role, he has played in
“Pliegue” aswell, a production by “Altibajos Constantes Movimientos” dance company.
As an instrumentalist he has collaborated with numerous sound artists as Hedgar Di Fulvio
(Argentinean traditional folk Music), Luis Toro, Pablo Cécere and José Halac, among
others.
He has played aswell as a director in works by renowned composers, nouvelles and his
own authorship, and he has shared different composition collective projects with many
composers, dancers, actors and performers.
Nowadays he plays a rol in “Yacer o Ya-Ser” (as a musician but as an actor, aswell), he is
in a leader rol for a performance of a re writing of “The Rite of Spring” (by ”Pablo Cécere),
and he develops an opera project that aims at the first realization of the genre for the City
of Laboulaye, with scripts and scenography by Omar Díaz and with the support of the
School of Arts “Luz Vieira Mendez”, the Orchestral Band of the City of Laboulaye and the
Choir of the town of Serrano.
