Nina Gershy

A native New Yorker, Nina grew up acting with the Pied Piper Children's Theatre for ten years, where she was able to play the lead in many Shakespeare productions, straight plays, and musicals. In order to escape humid New York summers, Nina consistently ran away to Circus Smirkus Camp. Her love for circus and theatre turned into a serious passion.

After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations, and a double minor in International Relations and Law and Society, Nina was admitted to the New England Center for Circus Arts' Professional Training Program. She completed the program  with a specialization in Aerial Rope.

Since her time at NECCA, she has stage managed for Acrobatic Conundrum, performed aerial at high profile events like Hijinx Music Festival, and New York Fashion Week. She also was a featured performer in ABCirque's production of "Le Cirque Espirit" in conjunction with Cordis music. Nina just finished touring as an original cast member in "RagTag: A Circus in Stitches" with Cirque Us.
