I am an artist specializing in painting. My art is extremely inspired by the circus. I love to create installation with multipal layers of glass. I would love to collaborate in any way possible.
Born in 1997 have studied from Modern School; Barakhamba Road; Delhi and presently perusing my passion in painting from College of Arts Delhi, Tilak Marg.
As shared by all in the family from a very young age my best friends were crayons, paints, color pencils, paper and things like play dough. Due to the support, encouragement & freedom provided by my school, teachers and parents to paint my world I was lucky to be a part of the first group exhibition of my journey as an artist at the age of 11 years at the India Habitat Center, Delhi where I was the youngest among very senior artist.
Ever since, have been participating regularly in several group shows and have had subsequent Solo Art Exhibitions in India Habitat Centre, Delhi.
Have also had an opportunity to exhibit my artworks on an international platform in Paris and Berlin and have participated in the Indo German Youth Art and Culture Exchange Program conducted in Berlin.
I have won several awards and merits not only for fields related to art but for Leadership at various stages and Prefectural Position as well including the International Award for Young People. Beside my intense passion in the field of art I am an International Level and State Medalist in Air Pistol Shooting.
Every day is a story I want to express on my canvas bursting with the life force within me. I consider myself, my life and my work a combination of opportunity blessed and provided by the eternal universe.
The most powerful way of my expression is through Forms of Art. For me it is as spontaneous as my imagination. Exploring and experimenting with multiple mediums is how I try to express myself.
In my series titled as Acyrolining (Acyro for Acrylic and Lining for drawing which lays underneath) is a way of breaking loose from any given definition. They can be called a painting, an illustration, a composition or a collage. For my audience I want them to tap into their imagination, build interpretations and perspectives along with bring forth the basic Human Emotions of Flight.
Collecting found objects and creating an interesting dimension to the artworks by adding unconventional mediums like enamel, ceramic, metal, wires, buttons, thread, sequence, feather, chain, beads, plaster of Paris, copper, toothpicks, matchsticks, earbuds, oil pins, recyclable waste, machinery parts etc.
The beautiful ensemble of nature created by the Creator is the provider for the inspiration of my artworks. A search to find new forms within the matter of living or nonliving, which may have existed or may be striving to exist even today, kindled the curiosity within me.
