Hi my name is Moira, Dutch, but living in Switzerland. I have always dreamed of being a circus artist, but that dream only recently became reality. Unfortunately, I had a late start within the circus arts, because I was convinced as a kid that I had to be born in a circus family. It was only at the age of 24 that I discovered that circus is for everybody and that is when my journey started. I started riding the unicycle and that has been my main discipline since. However, I’ve also learned some silks, duo trapeze and partner acrobatics.
When I am on stage, I feel alive and it is amazing to be that that what I dreamed of being fits well with who I am. Besides performing and being on stage I love inspiring people and challenging them to go forward and discover their full potential. One of the reasons why I became a circus teacher, but I also recently created a show in which I combine both, performing and inspiring.
I am an enthusiastic person, loyal, perseverant and willing to work hard.
