I'm Chelly Kern, a Berlin-based dancer and choreographer working across Hip Hop, Streetstyle, Locking, Popping, Afro, Jazz, Contemporary, and Commercial styles. My practice extends beyond performance into movement direction and staging, and I bring a multilingual, internationally minded approach to my work, speaking German, English, Korean, and Japanese.
My choreography and performance credits include the Henkel/Schwarzkopf Polychrome Tour, a UEFA Euro performance choreographed by Sadeck Waff, and three consecutive years choreographing the Opening Shows at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. I've also worked as a dancer and choreographer on multiple music videos, including Half Me, Point Blank Creation, and Basti, and toured across Japan as part of a dance ensemble.
I began competing at 14 and have gone on to place among medals and win multiple competitions, both with groups and as a duo, including two appearances each at the World Dance Championship and World of Dance. My training includes Flying Steps Academy, work with Royal Family, the Just Jerk Intensive with Bada Lee, YoungJ, and Gyuhong, and the Late Night Program with Nikita Litvichenko.
I've been teaching dance for over five years, and I've lived and worked abroad extensively, including extended periods in Japan and Korea. Looking ahead, my goal is to choreograph musicals, stage performances, and concerts, and to dance for leading choreographers in the industry — spanning concert tours, music videos, and advertising campaigns.
