Biography

I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Kentucky. I specialize in metaphysics, mind, and language. Recently, I have been exploring aesthetics and philosophy of the performing arts - in particular, the circus arts. In 2017, I created and launched an innovative course, Circus and Philosophy, at the University of Kentucky, where students combine first-person circus with philosophical study. I am also faculty advisor of the circus club, Circus Cats, at the University of Kentucky.
