I got introduced to Cyr wheel by a friend in my class of 3D design in Spain who let me try his wheel for 5 min, I fell in love with it, saved up some money and bought my own and have been training ever since.
I learned Cyr wheel on my own, training between 3-4 hours a day after class in skateparks or wherever there was a floor that worked.
After 2 years of training outside I moved to Sweden and joined Manegen´s training space for professional circus artists where I kept training for one and a half years.
By this time I had developed a great understanding of my discipline but felt that I lacked in other areas such as dance and stage presence so I moved to Denmark to study circus art at the academy for untamed creativity (AFUK) for a year where I improved on my weaker points and now feel that I am a more complete artist as a whole.
Even though my passion will always be Cyr wheel I also find great pleasure in practicing dance-acro, tumbling and experimenting with combining disciplines.
These past few years I have performed at different venues around Copenhagen, most notably at the Winter Jazz performance with live music from Twang.
I just finished a contract coaching cyrwheel and acrobatics at Circus connections in San Francisco and am now looking for new adventures!
