Marie-Élaine was born and raised in Montreal and she has been performing for nearly 20 years. Graduated at ENC she started her career on the equestrian show Cavalia where she was performing hand to hand duo. On that production she learned a lot of discipline such as bungee and harness work. After many years of touring her experience brought her to The house of dancing water a famous production created by Franco Drangone. In 2018 Cirque du Soleil recruited her to participated to the creation of a new apparatus for a project in China. On that show she started to learn Russian cradle and was able to combine both passion. During the pandemic force to quit China with her partner in crime, they created a Russian cradle duo called Voladora. They performed together all summer and shortly after that Cirque du Soleil offered them a position in a Russian cradle group act on Ovo.
