Lucy Gamsby Frost

I am an international theatre practitioner working cross artform based between the northwest of England and Australia. Originally training in Performance Design and Management at Manchester University, I went on to be a designer and maker specialising in set and costume for theatre. Along the way I found the world of street theatre, circus and cabaret which has taken me across the globe, from village halls in Wales, cabarets in Berlin to big tops in Australia. I founded Molly Orange Street Theatre in 2009 and have created a catalogue outdoor shows that mix circus and narrative with engaging characters and socio-political issues. Eager to make a tiny dent in the world I inhabit, I run projects alongside my performing and design work that allow me to research the sector, develop opportunities for sharing practice amongst fellow artists and to the wider public.
