Our machines are powered by human traction and solar energy and are created from recycled materials, wood and metal. We convey a hopeful message of a sustainable and increasing respect for fragile resources.
We have three large, mobile pieces of installation art on tour. The Marie Celestial is a mechanical, moving, space galleon which can perform the roles of, imaginative play space, stage set, aerial circus rig and flame thrower. It was built by a community cooperative project which trained young people in metalworking in Bristol in 2015 supported by funds raised by a successful Kickstarter campaign and the Northern Festivals Network & Glastonbury Festival. It has toured in 2015 & 2017.
Lost Luggage was developed in 2017. Also supported by Arts Council England is a semi-sentient, roaming, robotic stegosaurus, crammed with abandoned suitcases and other household items from a long lost extraterrestrial race, mysteriously akin to our own.
The Wherever People is a show which takes place on board a miniature barrel top wagon deals with difficult topics of migration in a format suitable for a young audience and has a workshop activity attached. This toured in the Midlands in 2015 & 2017. -
