Leela is a 22 year old circus performer located in the suburbs of Chicago. Her background includes gymnastics, dance, and theater. She is involved in many arts and does not limit herself to just training Hula Hoops, Contortion, and Aerial Lyra. She also dabbles in aerial silks, Duo Trapeze, Aerial Cube, Devil Sticks, Juggling, and Poi. Leela plans to attend NECCA in Vermont within the next year to train in their professional circus arts program. She has performed with The Vagabonds of the Runaway Circus in 2015-2017. In early 2017, Leela formed and coined her own business; Elite Gem Entertainment. Operating out of the greater midwest and staffing all styles of performers. Aside from her performance career, Leela coaches and directs a flourishing aerial arts program. She also teaches recreational gymnastics and hoop dance classes.Leela has several years experience in teaching, and is available for workshop and group lessons in aerial, hula hoops or contortion/acrobatics.
