Kalista‘s love for circus arts started at the age of 10 and has only grown stronger since. Her main focus was in aerial arts, although she quickly discovered that her favorite apparatus was aerial hoop. After training between Trapeze Arts and Kinetic Arts Center, she was accepted into the NECCA ProTrack program where she graduated as an aerial hoop major with a rope and duo straps minor. She also spent several months training in Canada at the Ecole de Cirque de Quebec before she accepted her first international contract with AIDA. She has also competed internationally with her most recent competition being VivaFest 2023 where she took first place in the aerial hoop category and was awarded the CircusTalk Spotlight award. She works to emphasize dynamic movement and musical artistry in her performances and aspires to create pieces that will leave her audiences with something powerful to remember.
