JWYOYO (Justin “Wacky” Weber) is a yo-yo performer and object manipulation act that makes what most consider a child’s toy into a theatrical circus performance. He enjoys choreographing the yo-yo’s movements to jazz and electronic music, as well as incorporating dance and the 1930’s vaudevillian aesthetic. Operating out of pure joy, Justin has been yo-yoing for 20 years, having begun at age 11 when he received his first Yomega Fireball yo-yo as a Christmas present from his parents. He then went on to be sponsored by Yomega toys, compete in the World Yo-yo Contest, and demonstrate Bandai’s line of Hyper Yo-yos in Japan. He even appeared as a comic book character in Bandai’s Corocoro Comic Book! A resident of Greenwood, Brooklyn, his aim is to bring yo-yo to the circus and bring it to light in the public’s eye as a viable performing art.
