Jordan Reinwald, originally from Lincoln, NE, graduated from Columbia College Chicago, with a degree in Dance Performance in 2012 under the direction of Bonnie Brooks. Since then she has danced professionally for Malpaso Cuban Dance Company, Aerial Dance Chicago, C5 Create With No Limits, Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre, Khecari, Winifred Haun and Dancers, Civic Ballet of Chicago, and on numerous independent projects. Her work has been seen at Chicago Fringe Artist's Networking Night, Harvest Chicago Contemporary Dance Festival, Columbia College Chicago, THAW, and Malpaso Cuban Dance Company. She is currently the Founder and Artistic Leader of "Document Cuba" a long-term collaboration project between Osnel Delgado Wambrug, Michel Rodriguez Cintra, and Reinwald which aims to explore long distance, and life-long friendships and their effect on the artistic process. Together, Reinwald and Delgado created "The Elephant in the Room" in 2015. The duet is now it its second phase of development and will be presented in 2017 at The Ruth Page Center for the Performing Arts. "Document Cuba" raised $1,800 in 2015 in order to bring photographer Quinn Wharton to photographically document the initial process for Reinwald and Delgado's first choreographic collaboration. The duet was featured in the June 2016 issue of Dance Magazine. Reinwald is currently a full-time Pro-trainer at Actor's Gymnasium, with concentrations in Mime, Bungee Dance, and Silks.
