Joaco is an eccentric, physical and playful performer who incorporates theatre with circus. Born in Madrid where he started to perform, eventually joining to Carampa Circus School. Later, he decided to go to the National Centre of Circus Arts in London to study for a Foundation Degree. In 2010, he started to perform his first solo show “An Irreverent Mad Man” performing all around Spain and some countries of Europe; also he performed in other group shows like “Locomotion” by theatre company Teatrapo and “The Carambas” by Chris Lynam. Now he keeps creating new shows for a variety of spaces, mixing different techniques and his knowledge of illusions, circus and theatre, always trying to be honest on the stage and fresh for the audience. Joaco believes that an audience feeds the soul of an artist and he aims to engage them in a playful atmosphere.
