About Jani

Jani is the artistic director of a Wales (UK) based circus company called The Beacons Circus Company. 
He is also a multi cloudswing performer, a new and very unique circus discipline all around the world, he is also a trained dancer and martial artist. He was introduced to both dance and martial arts at a very young age. He became the Hungarian Ashihara Karate Champion in 2003 and practiced Boxing, Kung Fu, Kendo, Capoeira and is also a certified weapon user, skilled in the use of knives, swords and bows. Jani practiced; Hungarian folk, Ballroom and Latin dancing at competition level and then moved on to study Ballet and Contemporary dance at UK higher education level. In London he studied at the National Centre for Circus Arts as a Double Cloud (Corda Double) Performer. He studied from Lyndall Merry, Rita van Opzeeland, Adie Delaney. Jani was teaching Capoeira from the age of 18, Flying trapeze with the Gorilla Circus in London and worked as a child development gymnastics Instructor at The Little Gym Westfield, since then Jani has been thought at Nofit State Circus, Bassline Circus, CircusMash, CircusVogue, The Invisible Circus, Flying Fantastic and in many other venues.
