Iser Torijano Valle is a Costa Rican aerial acrobat and movement enthusiast with a deep passion for artistic expression. She trained in contemporary dance at El Barco Conservatory under the guidance of renowned Master Jimmy Ortiz and specialized in aerial silk acrobatics at the New England Center for Circus Arts.
Born into a family of artists, with a visual artist father and a mother who is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher, Iser inherited a rich artistic legacy that informs her unique blend of disciplines. Currently based in Peru, she has collaborated with Tsaurios Circus under the direction of Alexander Grimaylo.
As an independent performer, Iser has worked with esteemed companies such as Punto Muerto Contemporary Circus Company, Inquieta Res Scenic Arts, Colectivo Cla, Cía Drapés Aériens, and Metamorphosis. She also performed in the acclaimed piece “H” by Master Jimmy Ortiz, which won the Costa Rican National Award for Best Choreography in 2017.
Her talent has taken her across international stages, performing her act “Cumulonimbus” in the United States, Guatemala, France, and Mexico. Additionally, she has collaborated on international projects with French and American companies, further enriching her artistic repertoire.
Currently, Iserr is also performing as part of Dúo Errante, a dynamic aerial straps duo, showcasing her versatility and dedication to the art of movement.
