Ioana Tomescu

Hello :)

My name is Ioana, I'm 21 and I'm a circus artist at the Metropolitan Circus in Bucharest, Romania. I have several aerial acts like aerial silks, hammock, lyra and I also do German Wheel act.

I'm Romanian and I'm also a student, I will finish my studies next year and my dream is to travel the world by doing what I love : circus <3.

My first time in a circus arena was in December 2017 and I was just 18 years old. Then in 2018 I traveled to the same circus in Croatia and I worked for the 2018 season. Then I was employed at the Metropolitan Circus in Bucharest and I had several artistic projects there. I had many shows and I was very happy doing what I love the most . Although the pandemic era came, me and my colleagues stayed string and in that summer we began the shows , but outside in order to stop the spread of the virus.

The next summer we did the same and right now we are doing what we can.
