Hannah Owsianka

Hannah is a Melbourne born aerialist known for her elegant and graceful performances.

After attending a less than enlightening aerial yoga class, Hannah discovered circus at the age of 20 and was soon driven to abandon her studies in Prosthetics and Orthotics to pursue a life in the air. Influenced by her training in classical and contemporary dance, Hannah’s work infuses strong balletic lines.

Specialising in swinging trapeze and aerial silks under the guidance of renowned coaches Victor Fomine, Anna Shelper and Helene Embling, Hannah has performed with Circus Rio, Circo Soledad Cardinali, Opera Australia, in corporate events internationally and in festivals around Australia including the Melbourne Fringe Festival and the Mullumbimby Circus Festival. Counterintuitively, Hannah feels most grounded in the air.
