Gracie Hill is an aerialist and acrobat, specialising in Static Trapeze and Pair/Group Acrobatics. Born in England in the north-west of London, she began gymnastics at the age of seven and this early training and skills she learned were the beginning of her journey towards circus.
Later she found Circomedia, a circus school based in Bristol where she studied Contemporary Circus Arts and Physical Theatre. After two years she decided she wanted to take her studies further which led her into auditioning at SaSak, a circus school in Finland. She studied for three years developing a unique style combining Hat Manipulation with Static Trapeze. Gracie loves to use different kinds of music to inspire her way of moving on the trapeze, she has developed her own style of quirky dynamic movements that feel most natural to her.
After graduating with degrees in Trapeze and Acrobatics, Gracie has been part of starting a new contemporary circus company called 'MadMotion Company'. She and four other artists have created their first show together 'House Of Hazard'. Gracie was partly the artistic director and choreographer which turned out to be a success and has been performed at Kukko Festival, Orimattila in Finland and continues to be developed and performed.
Gracie is now in Norway creating new acts and collaborating with other artists.
