Hello World! My name is Fosse Lin-Bianco (he/him) based in Las Vegas, United States. My primary discipline is aerial rope (corde lisse). I also train acrobatics, dance (jazz, modern, hip hop), juggling, and singing. I am also an electrical engineer and I experiment with intertwining engineering with circus acts.
I recently created the Digital Movement Art Project, which explore the intersection between engineering and circus arts. For my first experiment, titled Acrobat Acceleration, I created an acrobatics shoe that tracks the acceleration of a circus performer's movement and uses this data to create artistic data visualizations. In short, the system allows a performer to create an art piece from their acrobatic movement. Follow along in the journey @digitalmovementart on Instagram.
So, welcome to the world of Fosse. As I like to say: "I put the circus in circuits"
