Mission Statement
We create, perform and promote indoor and outdoors aerial arts performances and teach people how to fly, because we want to increase the aerial arts community in Ireland, for everyone to enjoy and access.
Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Theatre established and nurtured the aerial dance sector in Ireland. Since 1998 the company performs indoor, outdoor, crane, vertical dance performances and shows for young audiences in Ireland and internationally. The company also works in community and professional development. In 2009 Fidget Feet established Ireland’s first annual aerial dance festival. Fidget Feet is Ireland’s first annually-funded contemporary aerial circus company, funded by The Arts Council of Ireland and are continually supported by Culture Ireland. In 2013, Fidget Feet was awarded the Arthur Guinness Project fund for Ireland’s first Irish Aerial Creation Centre, which opened in 2015.
Our passion is to tell our stories through aerial art that moves people and changes lives. As the first aerial dance company in Ireland, Fidget Feet are the leading advocates in artistic and technical development. We tour indoor and outdoor venues nationally and internationally.
