Eris Atienza

I’ve always dreamt of performing - although, originally, I imagined that meant playing the drums in a band! I’ve worked in software engineering for the past six years, while training in circus alongside my career for the last four. Somewhere along the way, I completely fell in love with circus and performance, and realised that it was something I wanted to pursue seriously as a career. I mean, I travelled all the way to the UK to join the circus after all!

I’m a circus artist and aerialist specialising in dance trapeze, duo trapeze and solo and duo straps, with additional experience in Lyra, rope/Spanish web and duo acrobatics. Alongside circus, I have experience playing musical instruments, particularly drums, and enjoy bringing my broader performance interests into my work as an artist.

I’m now pursuing a career in circus and live performance, with a particular interest in aerial, variety and multidisciplinary performance opportunities in the UK and internationally.
