Eric Boo, is an Spanish comedian and mime-clown who started performing in the streets of Europe's main towns while finishing his studies in the Fine Arts School of Barcelona. He perfected his craft and became a professional performer after five years of direct contact with the audience. His first professional performance in the "X Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain" in Paris in 1987 led the beginning to a successful career, as it was followed by engagements with Circus Medrano in France, "Scala" in Spain and the "Moulin Rouge" in Paris, this last one becoming the highlight of his career and where he spent eleven years. Eric has performed all over the world in top venues and circuses such as “Son Amar” in Spain, "Apollo" in Dusseldorf (Germany), "Friedrichbau Variety", in Stuttgart, "Polygon Variety" in Zürich, "Variety de Bale" in Switzerland or "Benidorm Palace" in Spain, "Circus Scott" in Sweden, "Circus Roncalli" in Germany, " Osterreichischer National Circus-Louis Knie" in Austria.
Eric Boo has a natural skill to interact with the audience and uses mime to transform reality and daily rutines joyful, magical moments. He has been deeply influenced by some of the top classical masters like Charly Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd, as well as some modern artists like Marcel Marceau,Jango Edwards, Johnny Melville or Courtemanch.
