About
-
Since 1983, the ENACR basically aims at the education of circus artists of high technical level and large versatility.
The ENACR enjoys international recognition as an educational institution for professional circus artists, and as such, delivers officially recognized diplomas since 1991.
It also proposes education and training for amateurs, targeting children, teenagers and adults.
From experiments in all kinds of professional conditions, to efficiency research for recovery phases, from courses in the history of art, to the control of security equipment and security conditions, teaching and experimenting penetrate each other fruitfully. -
Management
The education for future professionals is what a course of advanced learning and training in circus arts should achieve. The ENACR's pedagogical project is basically conceived to join learning of circus techniques with learning in other artistic fields. During the course, students meet with professional situations by creating and performing shows. They participate in one or several projects, in collaboration with cultural or professional education institutions in France and abroad.
The Ecole Nationale des Arts du Cirque de Rosny-sous-Bois (ENACR) and the Centre National des Arts du Cirque (CNAC) join in the concept of a curriculum for three to four years of study, leading first to the Brevet Artistique des Technique du Cirque (BATC) and further on, to the Diplôme National Supérieur (DNSP) for circus artists.
