Emily Greenwood

I am a professional circus performer, teacher and choreographer specialising in aerial (doubles trapeze, doubles hoop, solo trapeze, silks and solo hoop), stilts (pegs and dura’s) and fire or glow performance. I have been performing and teaching in the circus industry for 15 years, My creative work is traditionally theatrical but can be performed in many styles. For the past 10 years I’ve been teaching up and coming artists aerial arts providing technique, choreography and performance skills to enhance their work. I have a background in playwork, teaching general circus skills and clowning to children and young people. In the past 5 years I have developed circus classes for children from 3-6years old since I’ve had my own twin boys. I’m also a confident and experienced rigger for personal and students aerial equipment. Proof of full PLI, fire insurance and risk assessments as required.
