Ekpoawan Edem

I am a multi-disciplinary circus artist originally from Nigeria, currently resident in Senegal. From 2017 to 2022 I performed with the company I formed, Patatrak Circus, in different cities in Nigeria (mostly Abuja). In March 2022 we performed at the MASA festival in Cote d'Ivoire. Now the company is on hiatus and I am a free-lance artist. 

I specialize in hula hoop and aerial hoop, with extensive experience in dance, juggling and human pyramids (African troupe performances). In addition to circus technique, I bring a wealth of administrative and technical experience from running my own company.
