Danielle has been a performer since the age of 3 when she got her start wearing a tiny fat suit to make her look like a little red robin ballerina. She continued to dance her way through high school achieving many awards and accolades, that mean nothing in the adult world but were very important back then. She has trained in nearly every dance style there is but loves her self proclaimed title of jazzerina. (jazz ballerina)
After graduating Danielle went off to find the perfect professional training program and stumbled upon a circus school that exposed her to all sorts of circus arts. Including her now favorite discipline aerial straps.
Straps makes Danielle feel strong and graceful and tough as nails cause those babies will rip your skin clean off.
Aerial silk loops came a bit later but quickly became one of her favorites as she found that it gave her the opportunity to do more drops and explore unique characters while in the air.
Danielle chose to pursue contact juggling because she didn’t have to constantly pick balls up off the floor like traditional juggling has you doing.
Teaching dance and creating choreography for the upcoming generations for the last 10 years has been both terrifying and extremely rewarding for Danielle. It has made her a great leader and allowed her to express her creativity. Many awards have really reassured her that she is actually pretty great at choreography!
Danielle loves being able to use her dance training and talent in choreography to create acts that not only appeal to audiences but also bring her joy to perform. She is a Canadian from Vancouver BC, currently living in Las Vegas, training and working hard to achieve her dream career performing aerial and circus arts for as long as her body will carry her. The stage is where she belongs and feels the best. And you will have to carry her old limp body off the stage before she willingly quits performing.
