Los Angeles native, Dana Dugan is an artist, acrobat, performer, pedagogue, academic, and mother currently based in Montreal. She began her acrobatic passion at the tender age of 5, which eventually led her to life in the circus as a trapeze generalist. Dana studied privately at École Léotard in Montréal, Québec. Her secondary disciplines in performance and teaching include lyra, stilt dance, hand balancing, hair hang; but also carries a passionate flame for music and dance. In addition, Dana was a founding member programmer, and producer for the Chicago Contemporary Circus Festival. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at Concordia University under scholarship researching the “circus body.” Her greatest contribution is her two beautiful children. She has graced stages across North America and internationally.
