I was an accomplished lifelong gymnast turned circus performer until completing my studies in creative writing. I moved to Istanbul alone to write and some seasons later I turned up in Detroit for an artist residency. I was as a method actor sculpting my own wire cage. The residency brought me to Los Angeles where I have performed in a dozen theatre productions and counting, playing such eccentric and dynamic characters as Gollum (Breaking Convention) and the villainous George, Duke of Clarence (Richard III).
