Cirque Intense Preparatory- and Professional Orientation School

WHEN AND WHERE? 

Cirque Intense provides a two year preparatory program, a one year professional orientation, masterclasses in several artistic specializations. The curriculum starts in the beginning of September lasting until end of July. The school year 2024/25 will start on September 9th, 2024 in Neuenburg am Rhein, Germany. Interested?

WE OFFER  

- a way to realize the dream of making circus and stage arts as profession. An intensive year in a small and stable group with professional coaching in your specialization, daily classes, weekend workshops and a deeper understanding of professional stage performance.

- weekly circus pedagogical practices with our children training groups

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CIRQUE INTENSE

- daily training sessions for fundamental artistic areas  (acrobatics, juggling, balance) 

- circus, dance, music and theatre in our exclusive Cirque Intense tent 

- weekly additional training in your chosen specialization (Juggling, Slack- and Tightrope Walking, Aerials, Cyr Wheel, Chinese Pole, Freeladder, Walking Globe, Rola Bola, Hand-to-hand, Teeterboard, Handstand and more) 

- support from an osteopath 

All participants are involved in the creation, performance and touring of a circus show. The students of the two year program are additionally presenting a variety show during their second year. If you are interested, you may gain circus educational experience by teaching children. If you want to apply to a higher circus education, you will receive assistance in developing a solo act and your application video.

CONTEMPORARY CIRCUS 

is the combination of theater, dance and performance with artistic elements.

Previous experience in these disciplines is an advantage at Cirque Intense, but interest in an intensive training experience most relevant.
