Circus Zambia - a place where you can run, jump, fly and land safely. Circus Zambia is a Zambian non-profit social circus company from a slum called Chibolya in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia. Chibolya is known for its lack of facilities, high level of poverty, drugs and criminality. 80% of The 40,000 inhabitants of Chibolya are under the age of 14. Using circus, the company engages vulnerable youth ages 5-21 with an holistic training approach to serve their body, mind and soul. On an annual basis, Circus Zambia reaches over 5,000 young people. Once active in weekly circus training, the children have access to school support and funding, additional academic tutoring, mentoring, life skills coaching, as well as access to a network of partner organizations which provide free medical services, scholarships, HIV/Aids support and expanded mentorship in their field of interest. In order to support its program Circus Zambia offers all kinds of services. We provide entertainment for parties and events, contemporary circus shows, international tours, circus workshops, team building workshops and venue and equipment hire.
