Circus Ring Of Fame Foundation

The Circus Ring of Fame Foundation exists to honor the highest of achievement in circus arts and culture over the span of a career.  One of our main goals is to offer enhanced connectivity to those honored and the general public seeking information about the inductees. The award has been described and a combination of Oscar's Lifetime Achievement and Hollywood Walk of Fame.

We see our organization as the storytellers and ambassadors who build bridges to connect circus arts and culture to the world. We want to accomplish this through our annual induction awards ceremony in January and throughout the year via technology. Each year hundreds of thousands of visitors frequent beautiful historic Saint Armand’s Circle and observe the plaques. We want to allow them to access relevant content via their mobile devices. We also wish to have similar content available on our website. We are not a museum or repository of things.

It is the mission of The Circus Ring of Fame Foundation to advance circus arts and culture by recognizing excellence in performance and significant contribution to the industry over the span of a career. We will do so with integrity, passion, teamwork and collaboration.

3. VISION STATEMENT

·       To Recognize the importance of circus arts in popular culture
·       To build a bridge to the future by bringing positive messages about the circus arts into the public domain
·       To provide historical relevance, purpose and context of the circus arts
·       To develop ways to make the honoree plaques come alive and tell the story of the circus arts and its important role in global culture
·       To honor the past, preserve the present and advocate for the future of circus arts.
