Basinga is a collective gathered around the art of High-Wire-walking.
We are but the ongoing management of our imbalances. These imbalances make us trip. Loose control. Fall. Bounce. Push us towards each other. To hold, maintain ourselves, and move forward, we tie knots. Cast lines. Build bridges. Hold on to the walls. To the branches. To each other. Through research, teaching, sharing and the production of high-flying participatory performances, Basinga seeks to develop, expand, transmit and communicate this art which, more than any other, simply tells how our so-called greatness is often based on our own frailties - and our ability to combine them together.
