Christopher Hartwig

Christopher was born in 1991 in Hamburg, Germany and started at “Circus Mignon”, a children and youth circus when he was ten years old. After finishing his high school he decided with his trapeze partner Milena to follow his dream and join the professional circus school in Rotterdam, Codarts - University of the Arts.

About our Duo:

We met each other when we were 15 years old and instantly became very good friends. Still as a hobby we started creating our first act in 2010 and happened to travel to several places in Germany, Switzerland and the “International Youth Circus Festival” in Stockholm. These performances sharpened our appetite for more circus because they opened a view on a tempting circus world. In 2013 we decided to take our hobby a big step further and make it our profession by starting the education “Bachelor of Circus Arts” at “Codarts – University of the Arts” in Rotterdam.

After four exiting years at the circus school we graduated successfully in summer 2017. Based in Hamburg, Germany we started our career in the professional work field, performing with our main discipline Duo-Trapeze and second discipline Hand-To-Hand for different companies all over Europe.
