Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I started dancing at the age of 3. I continued my dance training and education under the direction of Karen Dearborn at Muhlenberg College where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 2017. While at Muhlenberg, I took part in its first-ever circus production in the spring of 2014, and I immediately developed a passion for circus arts.
In the summer of 2016, I was a student intern at Circadium School of Contemporary Circus. At the time of my internship, the school was in the process of preparing for its opening in the fall of 2017. I helped the executive director, Shana Kennedy, with completing PA licensure, gathering and writing syllabi for the classes, creating a Kickstarter campaign, and garnering interest from prospective students and the Philadelphia community.
I am trained in multiple disciplines with my current favorites being sling and solo trapeze. I have performed aerial silks acts at Philadelphia School of Circus Arts "Haunted Circus" in October 2018 and in Matter Movement Group's show "Habit@t", performed at the Philly Fringe Festival in September 2019. I also performed a harness piece in MoDa Movement Co.'s "Alice Preview" Show in November 2019. I am forever growing in my dance and circus artistry and I cannot wait for what is to come in my journey as a performance artist.
