Carol Rotella

My name is Carol Ann Rotella. I am 21 years old based in Boston MA and New York, NY. I began my circus journey about 2 years ago when I started working at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts in the Circus Department. I received the opportunity while working at FWF to perform in a staff show where I executed a routine on the Spanish web. Though I am still a beginner in the performance aspect I have fallen in love with the world of circus. I am currently a student at Montclair State University studying Arts Management and Administration in Montclair NJ so I frequently travel between there and New York City. I plan to make my move to NYC upon my graduation in May of 2019. I really believe in the circus. I was gymnast my entire life. Once realizing I would not be able to go to college for gymnastics I quit to join my high school drama company. Upon my employment at FWF I immediately rejuvenated my love for gymnastics and realized a new love I was discovering for physical performance; that being the circus. I would love to work for a circus either performing or behind the scenes after I graduate, but until then I am making my way to classes in the NY area to sharpen my skills.
