Camila Muñoz

My name is Camila Muñoz, I am 24 years old. Since I was little I have been a very active person, I always had the motivation to practice physical activity, I started training artistic gymnastics at my school when I was 8 years old, I started training circus when I was 17 taking aerial silk lessons at my school in Santiago de Chile at the same time I started taking aerial acrobatics lessons at "Elevarte Circo Yoga". When I was 17 I did an amateur general circus training at the "Centro de las Artes Aéreas". At the age of 20, I made the decision to professionalize in the circus and I started a circus training in the "Escuela Preparatoria de Artes Circenses" in "Elevarte Circo Yoga" where I had a one-year general circus training. In the summer of 2018, I was part of a social circus project, where I gave workshops on aerial silks to girls from the “Nuestra Señora de la Paz” Residence, a collaborating foundation of the national service for minors in Santiago de Chile. In parallel, at the beginning of 2018, I started taking a fixed trapeze lessons at "Casa Arbol" and a trampoline lessons at the "Centro de las Artes Aérea", while training on my own to prepare for my auditions to enter in a professional circus school in Europe. In 2018 I was accepted in my current school "Salto International Circus School" in Portugal. In December of the same year I was part of a show: "Verdade ou Consequência"  at the "Teatro Experimental do Porto" where I worked as an aerial acrobat in fixed trapeze and aerial silks. During the year 2019 I had the opportunity to participate in the creation of a show in my current school Salto "The Last One to Grab Falls First" that was presented in three instances, in "Imaginarius Circus Festival" in Santa Maria da Feira, "Lisbon Busking Festival" in Lisbon and "CIRCa" in Auch France. I am a graduate from "Salto International Circus School" in Maia, Portugal.
