C.L.A.P.Spettacolodalvivo

C.L.A.P.Spettacolodalvivo has been running Circuito Ministeriale Multidisciplinare Lombardia since 2015, after more than 20 years of activity in distribution, organization and promotion of dance, theatre, music and contemporary circus. In the area of Regione Lombardia (Northern Italy), thanks to the collaboration with several private and public institutions, it has created a widespread network of 10 provinces and 70 municipalities, which host nearly 600 performances every year, in more than 100 theatres and other locations.

Circuito CLAPS aims to achieve a multidisciplinary approach to the arts, proposing theatre, dance and contemporary circus shows with live music, video installations and visual arts. In its playbill, there are well-known Italian and international companies as well as young emerging artists. Programmed performances take place not only in traditional theatres, but also in unconventional locations.

Every year since 2008, Circuito CLAPS organizes La Strada Festival in June: several days of performances (contemporary circus, urban theatre, dance and music), meetings and other activities taking place in Brescia municipality, historical centre and surroundings. The festival has a fall version, taking place in November-December every year since 2015.

Since 2018, it has also been proposing Tendenza Clown in Milan.

C.L.A.P.Spettacolodalvivo is recognized and supported by the Italian Ministry for Culture (MiBACT) and by Regione Lombardia as organization of relevant cultural value. It is CENTRO DI RESIDENZA ARTISTICA (Centre of Artistic Residency) for Regione Lombardia.

Associated to AGIS (Associazione Generale Italiana dello Spettacolo), it is partner of many Italian and European networks with the goal to spread theatre, dance, music and contemporary circus culture.
