I perform as Charlie the Juggling Clown. I perform magic, juggling, chalk talk, origami, pantomime, and clowning. I am a clown historian and author. I have written over 1,000 magazine articles, several educational pamphlets, and Comedy Techniques for Entertainers and the Creativity for Entertainers Trilogy. I received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the World Clown Association. I am a member of the International Clown Hall of Fame Board of Directors. I have been part of the Clown Camp core staff since 1990. I have lectured and performed at international conferences and conventions in North America, Europe, and Asia. In 1993 I represented the United States in the World Clown Congress International Gala Show in Sweden. I also presented a paper on the History of American Clowning, making me the only person to both perform and speak at the World Clown Congress.
