Awaji Art Circus

Awaji Art Circus (AAC) is an international performing arts festival held annually since 2015 which is based in Awaji Island, considered as the Island of Japan’s Origin. Artists gather on Awaji Island from around the world and perform for about one month at multiple venues, schools and local events on the Island, as well as enjoy the history and nature of Awaji Island, experience its traditional culture and share the appeal of Awaji Island and Japan with the world.

2019 marks the 5th celebration of Awaji Art Circus! 12 groups (22 people) from 12 countries will come to Awaji Island, bringing various circus and dance performances!

This September and October, witness an abundant fusion of rare performances that you could never experience anywhere other than on Awaji Island (Japan)!

Feel refreshed by the spirit of Awaji experiencing gourmet foods, incredible nature, and soothing hot springs for an exciting, artistic adventure!
