A native New Yorker, Amy began her artistic pursuits with 10 years of strict classical ballet training. From there, she went on to pursue a BFA in Dance and Urban Design/Architecture from the prestigious New York University Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with honors. From 8 years of performing in NYC, her favorite professional credits include the National Geographic documentary special “Sex in the Stone Age”, NYC Fringe Festival: The Graveyard Shift American Tragedy Musical, ABC’s Columbus Day Special, Connecticut Ballet, Eglevsky Ballet, Eidolon Ballet, Ess/DanceWorks, Ballet Ambassadors, Gleich Dances, and TranscenDance. Amy is also an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. She specializes in functional movement and started her own business in 2012, AIM Fitness NYC. In 2014, she accepted a place in the Professional Training Program at the New England Center for Circus Arts. After a year of circus school, Amy joined the Company and Teaching Faculty at Frequent Flyers Aerial Dance in Boulder, Colorado for the 2015-2016 season. She’s excited to be back in NYC to share all the knowledge and insight she’s gained in the last few years. Since her arrival, she’s been training clients in acrobatic conditioning and working with Christie Palermo, her aerial partner on their duo Femmes de Flight. In 2017, she’s performed as an aerialist in NYC venues such as Webster Hall, Dixon Place, and the Muse Brooklyn. She defines herself as a multi-faceted performer specializing in dance, aerial, and choreography.
