I am Professor of Organization and Business Ethics at Northumbria University, UK and Visiting Professor at the National Centre for Circus Arts, UK. Along with my friend Helen Averley, I convene the Circus Research Network (Britain and Ireland). My research concentrates on circus as a community and set of practices which can develop the virtues, redirect lives and build character.
I have lectured on circus in London, Montreal, Maine and Newcastle, amongst others. My research involves surveys and interviews with circus practitioners, managers and directors and has been published in academic journals including 'The Journal of Business Ethics'.
