Gosh, I kinda suck at constantly updating social media but I love performing in front of a real live audience. I'm a little shy until we get to know each other better. I am a one drink wonder so am a really cheap date (but I'm totally taken with my Chinese pole duo partner. We are DuoStraightUp.com).
I am currently really interested in infusing physical acting and story-telling into my circus and dance creations. My choreographic brain is at the uncomfortable place where movement alone is not enough AND movement expresses what words alone cannot. How do you show the subtlety of emotions, actions and reactions that create a story while also doing physically amazing circus or dance?
Bla bla bla... Most recent circus work includes performances with Anastasini Circus in Hawaii, Animate Objects Physical Theater in Seattle, and Venardos Circus in Alabama, California and Washington. Past dance work includes performances with the Seattle Opera and Khambatta Dance Company. I have also been a circus coach at SANCA in Seattle for the past 10 years (it started out as the day-job from a craig's list add).
