Evan Tomlinson Weintraub started in circus 19 years ago at the Circus Center in San Francisco. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Theater from Colgate University and is a graduate from the National Circus School in Montreal as a Chinese hoop diving and acrobatics specialist. Professionally, Evan has performed on Canadian and German television and with internationally-renowned circuses such as Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Éloize, Yonder Window Theatre Company, Quatuor Stomp, and MonLove Productions. He worked as the Acrobatic Designer and Coach for “The Secret Garden” (2022, 2023) directed by Felicity Hesed, Assistant to the Director and Assistant Stage Manager for “Dear San Francisco” (2021) directed by Gypsy Snider, and as choreographer and consultant for numerous individual acrobatic acts. Having worked in circus and theater for the past 19 years, Evan Tomlinson Weintraub understands what it takes to craft and perform intriguing and captivating circus for stages ranging from weddings, to local outdoor festivals, to the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
