ArtForms supports learners in music and artistic activities throughout Leeds. Our music service provides tuition to 14,000 young people across the city, through a combination of school-based lessons, youth music groups and community music centres.

South Leeds Music Centre (based at Cockburn School, LS11) runs on Saturday mornings for 27 weeks of the year from September until June, with breaks during school holidays.

We are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Violin Instructor to start teaching on Saturday mornings at South Leeds Music Centres as soon as possible. The post involves a mixture of small group and 1:1 work, involving both children and adults. There are approximately 3 hours' work available, subject to student uptake.

The appointment is paid on the NJC pay scale at SO2/PO1, subject to a 10% addition in recognition of planning time and holiday pay. The indicative hourly rate is approximately £19.96 per hour of teaching.
